Journey of Understanding

Patricia Hodapp, Marlei Martinez, Claire Pacey, and Leyla Ziad are our Encompass participants for Spring 2010. Each semester SU London sends a group of students on Encompass’s signature program, the "Journey of Understanding". This unique excursion brings together 24 young people (ages 16-23) from the US, UK, Indonesia, Israel, and Palestinian Territories. This term's group will spend 10 days together at the Outward Bound center in Lock Eil in the Scottish Highlands. Through a combination of intense physical challenges, team-building exercises and group discussions, participants address complex issues such as: stereotypes, identity, cultural heritage and ethnic conflict. The last day of the program is spent in London making presentations to local schools. Well done to everyone who applied for the program and congratulations to Patricia, Marlei, Claire and Leyla.

Financial Drop Deadline

Next Monday, February 15th is the financial deadline to drop SU London classes.  After this there is no refund if you drop a class.
